Ameer al Oudh Intense

Such a deep smelling oud. I definitely get caramelized cane sugar. There is a smoky note like tobacco or charred cedar that brings depth and weight to an already rich and luxurious fragrance. It reminds me of Nomad by Bond 9 but Ameer has an earthier smelling oud with some funk. There is a burnished leather note, some jammy blackberry, a hint of rose, juniper, cinnamon, pepper and dried ginger and coriander. A sophisticated accord of extracted essences that is well balanced. It could be masculine, feminine, dense, refreshing, indulgent, restrained. However due to its extracted character, for me personally I like it best in small doses.

Bewitching fragrance, can't stop using it.

I bought this as an alternative to Quaed which I really like but sometimes has an odd aftersmell. No such problem with this one, the after-effects are absolutely wonderful! I can't stop smelling myself. : )

An intense oud perfume with little else to say. Smells similar to simply oud in my opinion although maybe a little sweeter and more refined.
